Hey Guys
i'm looking into a New GPS unit
the: Magellan eXplorist 500 LE
I do have a few questions that hopefully someone could answer or give a rough idea about.
I will be using it for 4x4in, camping and mainly hiking!!
i would like road maps but i am mainly intrested in the topo and using my PC to construct trails for hiking and inport them on my GPS in-order to make sure i'm following my trial...
1: Is the mapsend soft ware usable and are the maps any good? (Canada topo maps)
2: Battery life... from a few fourms i hear they are well not that good!
3: How have people used their GPS... can this GPS do what i want it to do??? as stated above??
