Ok, so this project car has power steering. It steers great with no engine, so I am not really that committed to keeping it, but I think I would like to.
Anyway, I can really get a good grip on how this particular system works. It looks like a manual steering system with an assist ram on the main link.
I guess I have two real questions.
1) Is that really all it is? I can't find any info about the system operation on the web.
2) Will this thing stand up to a modern pump, or will putting a modern pump on it just blow all the seals right away?
