It looks like my memory is just not what it use to be. :banghead: I'm having trouble trying to figure out how the Alt, PS and AC pump brackets go back together.:icon_confused: Does anyone have or know of any pictures that would help me sort this out? It's on my '86 BII w/o an air pump.
Thanks for any help anyone can send my way.

Just got done figureing out the same thing on my 92 Ranger.

The alternator goes on the pass side.
the PS and AC goes on the driver side, with the PS sitting below the AC compressor.

The alternator bracket bolts to the front of the engine just to the left and below the thermostat housing and to the front threaded hole on the head to the left of the head bolt.

The PS bracket is part of the pump and the AC Compressor attaches to it above the PS Pump. The AC Compressor bracket also bolts to the second threaded hole on the head.

If you look at the thread titled "reassembly" there are a couple of pics that helped me.

I will try to upload some pic's later, but I'm on dial-up and may run out of time.

Thanks for the help. I've figured out most of it, I just have to figure out how the AC pump bracket bolts together on the back. I had taken all of the brackets and pumps apart and had the brackets powder coated. I did not think of taking pictures to help put it all back together. It seems that there two parts to the rear AC pump bracket and that is where I'm at now. From what I can tell, only the '86 & '87 years had this type of bracket (at least I believe that is what the book showed I'm using). If anyone has a good break-down or picture it would help.
