Jason Johnson. Just got one that I have talked about for a while. 2001 XL, generic as can be. I have wanted to drop a 2.3 Eco in one since the wife got her 15 Mustang. I was impressed with it and could see a Ranger swap in the future. I had a 88 LX Mustang for 23 yrs. Daily driver, 10.70s @ 128 on radials. That's been gone for a few yrs so its time to play again. I currently race boats but have been into the drag 4 wheelers also, Banshee SS/SB 6.44 @ 100.7. Looking forward to this project, has anyone did a Eco swap yet?

Fast Mustang... race boat... drag Banshee... Sounds like you're use to spending money!

There is one Ecoboost swap on the forum that I know of... Search 02 EB swapped Ranger. I would guess there is a couple more in the works.

I just found that post. That was a 2.0. I'm thinking 2.3, even with just a Ford programmer it makes 365hp

Stock banshee's are fast as hell with simple mods so I'm sure its fast and fun AF. Those are still one of the fastest 4 wheelers out there in my book. Got pics?

The 880 Raptors were/are FAST AF too.

Had a 70hp 54ft/lb 700 raptor, with a bar on it. it went 7.0s and I sold it, next guy sprocket swapped and got the 6.90. I'll try to get some pictures. The Ranger project will take some time. Its beat pretty bad right now. I need to go through the suspension and a few other places. It's got 160K on it but drives like its 360k. LOL. The picture is my 15' Carbon fiber Allison. 191lbs I run a 90 Yamaha 2 stroke on it. We drag race 660' I have won real steady for the last three seasons and this yr 1st race I was 2 and out due to engine trouble. that lil rig has seen 81mph and I chickened out and let off........ probably capable of 84-85 but who cares lol, its all I need for now.
