Hey yall new guy here, I'm a member of several outdoor forums so the setup is similar

I've always loved the ranger pickups , my first one was dad's old hunting truck a 1993 with the 4.0 and 4x4. Ran it bout til the wheels fell off but the engine was still good at 289k, have regretted selling it since , shouldve kept it and fixed it as funds allowed (southern truck 0 rust )

A couple months ago I finally got another ranger , a 1999 with the 2.5 ... got it for next to nothing , I have it road worthy now and have been cruising around in it , those are good engines , I have some tinkering to do still and a couple other odds and ends but I look forward to reading on this forum and hopefully contributing something useful

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Welcome to the forum. By the way, we've figured out how to put the wheels back on these things so we can drive them longer. A frame rusting away to invisibility is a problem. Wheels falling off is a minor nuisance.

Shouldve also mentioned I lurked around here back 2009- 2011, read yalls good info but never joined to put in my comments on fixes which is very important so many threads with questions then the member never says if the advice worked haha I sold my 93 in 2011 to by a daily driver f150 had a few trucks since but now my new ranger is not a daily driver it is my nostalgic hunting/fishing fun truck

I'm gonna keep this 99, regardless of issues, I'll work it out with her , same color as my original old blue so it has permanent home with me
