Been lurking for a hot minute, figured I might as well join. Had many, many rangers over the years; but now I’m driving an 88 4x4 with a ‘71 302 boss and c4 transmission. Truck has been a back burner project of my Dads for the last twenty plus years, finally talked him out of it and ferried it up to Southeast Alaska. So now I’m just chasing down minor issues and learning all about 302 conversion options!

Cool stuff...

Not sure what I'm more jealous of. Your truck or that you live in Alaska while I'm in Illinois.

Welcome to TRS....

Pros and cons, my dude. My wife is from Illinois! Garden Prairie. Unfortunately, for this forum, a drunk driver just crashed into her 87 Bronco ii that I just bought her in January. Insurance totaled it 😭

Sorry to hear about the Bronco II.

Not sorry she was able to leave Illinois...

But I know what you're saying.

It really sucked! This was a manual and a v6, would have been a hoot in the snow!
