Obd II program

I have any laptop laying around and was wondering instead of buying a scanner if anyone knows where I can get a program for free or next to nothing instead of buying a 3k scanner ??? I am for a program that does almost everything ..

Got smartphone? The app "Torque" and bluetooth OBD2 dongle should be what you're looking for.

Sorry no smart phone lol probably will never ever own one ... I abuse phones really bad and I just need a phone to make calls that's it and any other features just distract me..

They have awesome customer service. It shows the exact same as the $3,000+ scanners you can buy. All the parameters for anything you wanted to know about a vehicle.

For instance, when I hook it up to my '97 Powerstroke, I can tell you the PSI the high pressure oil pump is putting out, I can run an injector buzz test, read codes, clear codes, and map out a time frame of almost anything you could want.

The only thing it will not do is program a PCM.
