My amazing truck only blows hot air. While sitting in traffic or driving. Even in the off and cold setting it’s still blowing. Any thoughts? Ever had this happen to you?

Have you tried going north?

Seriously though, it sounds like the blend door is not working. When parts of the HVAC system fail the temp defaults to hot, and the direction to defrost, so that the defroster still works.

When you turn it off does the blower keep running, or are you just getting blow through from the cowl?

Check your temp blend door actuator, and make sure of why the air is still moving, go from there.

I haven’t been able to find one. Any ideas? All the junk yards I’ve called don’t have any rangers

One what?

Given Ford's issues with blend/mode door actuators and how hard they can be to get at I would not consider buying one used.
