Places North/East of Seattle.....

Hey guys, I was wondering is there is anything North/East etc.. of Seattle that's not too far out (maybe an hour or close to it) as far as "easy" wheeling goes? Maybe around Monroe/Sultan? I was reading some stuff about play areas in that area but they were quite a bit older reviews and seems like the spots/roads may be closed these days.

Basically what I'm looking for is maybe some mud/snow, hills etc.. maybe stuff similar to the "roads" with the whoop sections around Tahuya or maybe the easier stuff out at Naches. Just looking to have some fun but I'd be in my daily which has a straight body and my friends are also in a somewhat new Toyotas so it would be more of just something to have fun and screw around on some trails that aren't super tight.

Originally I was thinking about Walker but have read lots of conflicting reviews ranging from stating a more or less stock Jeep could do most of the stuff to saying that you are basically 100% sure to get body damage even in a short wb such as a Wrangler... I've been out to Tahuya and around lots of the stuff there without any issues (yet, lol) but was hoping there might be something new to try or some fun fire roads to hit with maybe a few pullouts to mess around on. Thanks guys!

Anyways, hope I made a bit of sense on what I'm shooting for. If anyone knows some spots that might be fun to hit for an afternoon, thanks guys!

P.s. - FWIW I'm in a 97 4.0L Ext Cab with a 6" suspension lift/33" tires, my friends Toyota is running a 3 or 4" lift and 32" tires I think.

Its not East, but I had some thoughts of getting a meet over on Kitsap Penninsula. There is a Poulsbo Sportsman club that lets you shoot pigeons and also has a pistol/rifle range, plus there are several decent state parks, a nice beach park in Seabeck for instance. I'm new here so I can't tell you where some good trails are on the Kit.Penn. but maybe someone else might chime in. I think there are several trail rides more on the E side of the Hood Canal by Quilcene.

Been looking around and it looks like there could possibly be stuff out by Sultan Basin Rd. or the general vicinity of Mt. Stickney? I've never been there but found a couple mentions of it on other forums for having some turn offs from the dirt roads etc... Yay/Nay? Anyone have info?

Well it's been awhile with a bunch of views so I'm guessing no one wanted to share info on what's around. Either way, after research on other forums and a couple days exploring it looks like I've found what I was looking for and there are some areas up there. Hopefully pushing further down the trails this weekend.

Try exit 38 or 42 off of i 90 stick to the right and branch off onto some trails ive been up there quite a bit with my B2 and my buddies ranger and its pretty easy wheelin, if you go up 38 stick to the right and there is a dirt road to the right off of the pavement and it is powerline roads and go up there for a mile or two and there is another trail to the right and go up there it is easy, not too rough on the rigs at all, i aint been up there in a while since my motor blew but it shouldnt be too bad with snow

Exit 34 on i90, go left under the freeway, take the second right after the services onto middle forks road, take it to the camogroundish area and make the only right hand fork uphill. There's goldmeyer hot springs up there, and a ton of terrain, beautiful area tho.
