Hey everyone,

So I'm new here and I finally have my first ranger. It's a 2009 sport. I was looking at getting 2.25" Pro comp torsion bar keys and belltech 6400 shackles. I was also looking at Rancho RS5000x shocks. I'm running the stock rims and 265/75/16 at tires.

I was looking for thoughts and advice on that or a similar set up. Unfortunately there's no way I can afford a superlift or RC lift right now but I have a problem with leaving things stock haha. It's a daily driver and occasional off-road toy.

Thanks for the help.

My credo
"220, 221, whatever it takes."
I would advise not turning the torsion bars more than 2". It puts too much angle on the CV joints.
The Superlift kit is out of production and getting difficult to find. What you have is fine. If you need more get a body lift.
I live just down the road in Rochester.

If I may make a recommendation, this is what I put onto my 09 FX4

Front- #1 Torsion bar, "pre key" torsion adjusters, and Rancho 5000x extended length front shocks
Rear- Stock leafs, Edge blocks (2.5", not the 1.5"), and the belltech 6400 shackles. For the belltech, don't use the last hole in the shackle, use the one before it.

I got about 2" in the front and 1.75-2 inches in the rear. The truck sits mostly level, slight rake. The pic isn't perfect, but ok. (This is also with 276/70R16 Grabber AT2)

Seems to work well. I think I'll add helper springs to stiffen up the rear end
