problem shifting to 4lo

have a 98 ranger with 3.0 auto
problem started with a bad shift motor,replaced that and it worked one time,now l have no 4 lo,have 4 high,no problem in TC,have checked fuses, wires,shift relay checks ok,replaced gem module,speed sensors check ok,have checked the pids with dealer scanner no help,did see one pid that dont change and lts the one about the clutch staying disengage,data in the gem module shows it being shifted into 4 lo,but the 4lo light dont light,it does light in sequnce when you pull for codes(has none)bfake switch work,nss works,l can go to shift relay an make it shift to 4lo and the light will light,but by the switch it won t work it.need help on this please,would some have example of what the pids should be when you go to 4lo?thanks for the help in advance.

Sounds to me like a bad switch.
