Ranger/Bronco with a 300 i6?

Has anyone ever put a straight 6, trans and T case into a ranger or bronco 2? Is there enough room for a radiator if that swap actually happened?

I saw a truck with the 300/5 spd and T case that are on good order and the truck itself is a goner.

Am I just crazy?

It's been done. There is a thread on here from a few years ago. A couple pics but no real detail on how it was stuffed in.

I think a body lift is necessary, Ive seen a write -up of one before but don’t remember it all or where I read it at, could of been here. A 300 is pretty heavy though, would be best with a 4wd chassis.

depends on induction. carb version fits no problem. there are some really cool setups with modded efi.

Oh man he added a turbo. I love the hood scoop on this thing too. But all in all, this is proof of concept for sure
