I love the early Broncos but as soon as they put ttb under them nope nope nope.

There was a Bronco between the EB and the TTB Bronco too...

Thats why i said 78/79.

They had D44 solid front, 9 inch rear and i dont care what you say a 400 will rip the crank outta a 360 anyday of the week.

The C6 was on par with the TQflite 727 and the 4speeds were the same in both.

The bronco was built better overall and looked betted.

I simply despise TTB. I've worked on so many ford plow trucks with TTB that I'm absolutely disgusted by them. Kinda like when you drink too much bad tequila and get sick and then you throw up in your mouth a little anytime you think of tequila...

Solid axle or GTFO.

TTBs and plows are the worst combo ever.

Solid axles are better but both are superior to shitty torsion bar or other carlike bullshit.

But for some reason everyone around here insists on plowing with 90s fords. Dont get me wrong the trucks are reliable but the TTB just candle handle the abuse a solid axle leaf spring front can. Best plow truck I ever seen was a toss up between my dodge sno commander and the shop f450. Obviously the 450 could push a much bigger blade and move way more snow. But the snow commanders plow system was almost failure proof. And even if it did fail, it was so redundant you could still get the job done with the chains and manual lift jack.

It's funny for me to hear the word "PLOW" used correctly. Around here, "PLOW" is a slang term for doing the nasty.

A snow Plow would be a female of the heavier group.
A garden plow, well, that's just a dirty girl.

They had IFS, I've worked on them alot too. IMO they are even weaker than the TTB but the maintenance is quicker and easier. Usually just keep throwing cv axles at them. The TTB is always bushing, arms, bent crap, pain in the ass work with torches, presses, hammers, etc.

Oh i agree with you that a solid leaf axle (bonus if its kingpin) is unbeatable for plowing...

But TTB is far superior to torsion or coil over.

Solid axle dana 44 front, 9.25 Auburn posi rear, manual shift Np241 super low transfer case, 360 v8 engine, 37 gallon fuel tank, 727 torqueflight transmission, twin batteries, hydraulic power accessories ports, 1/8" steel skid plates... the greatest and last of the dinosaur SUVs. Weighed over 1,000 pounds more than the bronco.

Yeah… no use for any of those for myself.

Example... I would like keyless entry... but would prefer manual seats. In today's world... I would be hard pressed to get one without the other.

I'm not 100% sure about the 2019, but my 2010 Fit (Honda) had keyless entry with manual seats (and they were even cloth). It also had A/C, Cruise, tilt, an automatic (5 speed), power locks and windows, power to spare, *and* an entirely cavernous interior (and 40MPG (real gallons). It was a pretty sweet package for about $21k.
