Without a pic of the new slider window...... it didn't happen. Come on, let's see what it looks like. ;) - BrunoTrk

What kind of sealer do you use I NEED TO REPLACE MINE ?
I used the 3/8" "ribbon" but it was too thick and I never got the window to fully "seat" in the opening. Even doing the job in the middle of a hot summer and using ratchet straps and 4x4 lumber to help pull the window in to fully seat against the cab. 1/4" "ribbon" would be perfect in my opinion..

Permatex "Right Stuff" RTV.

It isn't technically the "right stuff" but so far it is working a lot better than right stuff did.

I’m going to be replacing my rear slider soon. Do I need to to use a primer for the installation?

Reminder, when you lock your keys in your car or truck always brake the side Glass, don't brake that small window or your pop-out windows cus them Dam things Cost the most side glass cost 69.00 that little window cost you 450.00 always brake the window farthest away from the driver's door. Let the passenger Freeze or get Wet. Why should you suffer

Or you could just not needlessly smash any windows when you lock your keys in the car? :dunno:
