Hey everyone! I think it's been somewhere around a decade since my last post here, I'm excited to be back. Here's a few photos of my new '23 Ranger XL that I special ordered and have had since this past January:

It feels cool to drive two Rangers that are 35 years apart. So similar and so different at the same time. Lots more to come, hopefully!

Without seeing the build sheet... I'd say that looks exactly the way I would have ordered one. You might also have the last of the supercab Rangers. I'm still crabby that Ford took that option away on the new 24 models.

I'm not trying to be rude, but, you say "special ordered", but it looks like a basic work truck. Can you tell us how you spec'd your build?

They’re pretty much all special order anymore except for the one or two loaded to the gills models the dealers have on the lot. Broncos and Mavericks are pretty much the same.

Yup that's pretty much it. Dealers near me didn't stock many Rangers, if any at all. Between the time I first went in to inquire and the day I actually placed the order, the one I bought my truck from had one Ranger that was fully loaded and already lifted with a dealer accessory package. Also, they have this appearance care package they add to every vehicle that you can't opt out of which I was not into. I placed the order to avoid all that crap, as well as getting pretty much only what I wanted.

Mine is basically the most basic possible model you can get, except I added carpet and a rear locker. My key doesn't even have keyless entry buttons, haha. Very happy with it though, got exactly what I wanted, no more no less.

Well here is mine. 2021 Lariat. 3.5in FabTech suspension lift, 285/65R/18 BF Goodrich AT KO2's on ION Matte Black rims. Swapped out to a 'raptor' style grill without the lights and side vents. A work in progress project for me.
