I've been seeing the new 2019 Ford Rangers showing up in the forum.

I got out my vinyl cutter, and made a new 5"x7" TRS vinyl decal.

Post up a photo of your new 2019 Ford Ranger, and and then send me a message with your name and address, and I'll send you a decal!

You can send me a message by hovering over my avatar until a window opens, and then click 'Start Conversation', or click on my avatar to get to my profilename, and then click 'Start Conversation'.

Nice looking truck you have there! The tires look really meaty, what are you running and did you have to do anything to get them to fit? Great job on the graphics as well!

Thanks guys...it's actually Magnetic with matte black graphics. It's still on stock suspension with front offset beams removed, no rubbing issues. Wheels are Fuel Shok +20 offset mounted with 285/70-17 Falken ATW. Still waiting for the late developing/back ordered Eibach Pro lift.

My credo

Yeah I don't think I could get used to having all the HVAC controls run through that screen either. And my biggest concern would be the cost of repairs when that screen malfunctions. Electronics are sensitive to changes in temperature; and here in Pittsburgh it is not uncommon to see radical temperature swings within a few days, accompanied by a lot of moisture in the air. Combine those conditions with the constant barrage of road salt and other corrosive ice-melting agents that Penn-Dot puts down so liberally on the roads, this area becomes very hostile to an automobile. Especially one that's sophisticated enough that it may as well be a rolling i-Pad.
As for the crank windows and stick-shift, the vehicle I was referring to was the 2006 F-150 that I ordered new and drove daily for over 10 years. Loved that truck! Window cranks weren't badly placed, IMO. Transmission was the M5OD-R2, which does have a notchy feel. But that's what I'm used to. And I could always tell when I was in gear. If you're accustomed to an older, American-built manual transmission, I have not had the privilege of driving any of those except for a couple of 80's+ Mustangs with the T-5.
When it comes to electronics malfunctioning, I know with my Toyota Tundra when it was extremely cold for about a month, I had no idea what radio station it was on because the LCD was blank, and this wasn't the model with the touch screen this was just the basic bare bones model, so I can only imagine how that would go when you have to try and turn your heater on or anything else for that matter using a touch screen...I thought they still had the standard buttons and knobs for the HVAC under the radio screen though in these newer vehicles?

I've looked at a couple Rangers but they're larger than I like or need....maybe when the Courier comes back I'll get a Courier.

How could the Toyota Tundra not like cold weather? It's named after a large, frozen wasteland; i.e TUNDRA! :stirthepot:
