Seems that almost any thing can be used.

I ran out of wd40/pb blaster and don't have simple green.

What all have you guys used? I've read about a guy using lotion... tonight I'm trying foaming oven degreeser on some junk tires. Even read about Lucas stop leak products.

Found that almost any "chemical" works. So far I've used cheap oven cleaner. Brake fluid. Wd 40. Pb blaster. Liquid wrench. Engine degreaser. Brakleen. They've all made my tires fell softer. Maybe I'm just retarted but I'm pretty sure its changed the stiffness.

After 2 days I took my RC car tires out of the bags. They went from not flexing at all to folding in half under enough grip on the concrete. They also would not stretch on he sidewall now they do. And they are now far softer than axials softest compound tire.

What tires are they?

I have heard that in general RC tires take awhile to break in.

They were stock tires that came on my exceed 1/10 Crawler. Had them over 2 years. I cut every other lug out initially to get more form. Helped a little. Then I took out the foams. That woke them up. But only then would they actually flat spot when 1 tire had the whole weight of the rig on them. Now when going up and rear tire is biting hard it'll actually fold in half like you drove on a flat. Ill get some pics after I put it back together.
