My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
i guess living on the beach for almost my whole life makes me avoid taking my vehicles. i have had vehicles go from nice looking to holes rusted through the body in 3 years from taking them to the beach, even with washing them really well afterwards.

but if its not very often that you go, it is probably way less likely to happen versus my living this close
Absolutely. I had more corrosion on vehicles when lived in Connecticut.

The moisture from the salt air gets into everything. I've read about the horror stories concerning that. Vehicles rust from the inside out. At least us salt belt people get to see it before it's no longer repairable.
