I've been researching on different forums about this for a while, my truck is a bone stock 97 ranger 4.0 ohv 5r55e 2wd supercab. I plan on doing a DUI Performance screamin demon coil pack and their live wire plug wires, with msd spark plugs, a k&n cai, and exhaust. My question is, I've heard some people say you can safely run the 422 cam in a stock truck, is this true? I really love the way that they sound and I'm on a super tight budget so I sadly cant afford to build the rest of the motor(planning on getting 95tm heads eventually). I currently only have my truck, so it's my dd and needs to be somewhat reliable. I'm not really interested in settling for the 410 if I dont have to.
