Hey everyone, got my brother's 94 2.3 ranger that I just did a bunch of work on. I did a timing belt, plugs, wires, air and fuel filter, water pump, thermostat etc.

It developed a new issue where it stumbles when you snap the throttle in neutral, and completely bogs down when you floor it, anything other than flooring it the truck runs fine. It also fires up a little rough, but idles okay. I double checked that the wires weren't crossed and that I had all the connectors plugged in. I haven't checked that the valve timing is correct, but I did double check it and spin the motor over a few times when I had it apart to make sure that the valve timing was correct after I threw the new belt on, so I doubt that's the issue. Gonna have another look at it tomorrow, just curious if anyone has any ideas, could be coincidental or it could be something I did, not sure.

Thanks in advance

Check for vacuum leaks. Make sure the tube from the air filter box to the TB is tight.

Those all checked out good, I unplugged the MAF sensor and the truck runs great. Thinking I'm gonna goto the junkyard and snag a few sensors. I cleaned the MAF so I'm wondering if I screwed it up by doing that

A junkyard MAF sensor cured it, happy it was easy to diagnose and fix!
