swap engine with european motor up Bronco 2

Your motor mounts will he slightly different. I'm not sure if the European 2.9 is drilled and tapped in the same spot as the European one for the engine mounts.

The USA alternator and power steering pumps are different as well.

Air conditioning will not fit from the European engine.

The top end fits just fine. This is my 1988 Ranger.

I'd like to see how you plan on running the belt to that alternator.

Patience young grasshopper. You do not yet understand the mysterious ways of the 2.9. It has an interdimentional v belt accessory drive. Some day, with much perseverance, you may yet understand this complicated system.

KaP and Rusty 2.0 have spoken.

Oh yeah... I forgot we were talking about a 2.9l. I need to think in 1800s technology.

INTERDIMENTIONAL V BELT ACCESSORY DRIVE

Guarantee this becomes a GM thing in the not too distant future... or past... depending on the dimension you're in. It will break constantly and require a tesseract, 9th dimensional beings and a 23 sided dildo only made my phantom elves to fix. Kinda like fixing anything else on a GM anyway...

Clearly this is 1700's technology.

Which?
The engine is late 1800s technology.

What he has drawn? That's MUCH earlier then 1700s technology. :icon_rofl:
