Good afternoon,
I was looking to buy a rear sway bar for my newly acquired 2011 Ranger XLT Super Cab 4X4
All the part manufacturers show a different bar from up to 2010 than the 2011 model.
I know the 2011 added rear disc brakes. Does anybody know why the 2011 is a one year only part?
I can find the 2010 bars still available but nobody stocks\makes the rear sway bar for the 2011.
Looking for help to see if the 2010 bar will work.
Thanks,
Bill

Disc brakes were added because stability control was also added.

Might be unique to stability control program.

Thanks, after talking with Hellwig yesterday, they say the bar and links are the same, it has to do with the U-bolts and axle housing bracket.

that picture is a front bar, call them and get more details.
fyi, there is a 2" difference between coil & torsion front bars,. the coil bar is wide, neither look like a rear bar.
2010 rear axles have disk brakes.

Why do you want a rear sway bar on a 4x4?

The pic might be generic. I agree he should call. But the front bar listed on the website is 1 1/8" diameter and specifically states "Front". The bar I linked is 7/8" diameter and states "Rear".

Yspecv19 is correct, I bought mine from SD Truck Springs for my 2011, It went on easy & has worked great, huge difference in cornering.
