Hey TRS'ers,

Where can I find some GOOD 1350 parts diagrams?
Got an old Haynes book, too many greezy fingers
been in it. Hard to see them innards.......

1. Ford chassis shop manual

2. You can try the tech library.

Honestly, there are VERY few reasons for going into a 1350. They are extremely easy to find in the junkyard, and internal parts tend to cost more than a good junkyard unit. About the only thing that kills them is oil starvation.

Hey MAKG,

Guess availability varies with region.
Around here, most early Ranger/BroncoII in salvage have
had 4x4 drive line components removed. Ones I have found
go at a premium. ($250 - $350)
Money is tight, thought I could repair it cheaper.

Still not sure what/if I have a big problem with my t-case.
Front output shaft is loose, wobbly. I know that unit has a
u-joint in there. Is what I think to be 'loose' normal for the
BW1350? Or maybe the joint is going out.

Hey arrabil,

Thanks but a contact at broncoII.org posted me some very detailed 1350 diagrams.
Also listed pt#'s for front output shaft bearing and seal.
Now that I know what's in there, think that something is definitely worn out.
Going hunting pieces later this week.
