Temp gauge comes up less then a quarter of the way then after a while just dropes back off when the truck is well warm.

I have replaced the thermostat i dont know what else i could try so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :icon_cheers:

Yea, but....
You say the truck is still warm.
Is it just as hot as it was last week or last month?
T-stat is not a problem if the engine warms up (to the touch) and it doesn;t opverheat.
Look for the temperature sending unit to have a ;loose or broken wire, replace it they are cheap.
.
Just make sure you change the one for the gauge, and the store gives you the correct replacement part.
