Seeing how much room is there without that unit in make me think it would be a great place for forced induction (turbo).It was a beach taking that unit out of there but we got it out removing the hot water lines made it a lot easier also. But looky look at all this space in there!
Seems like a good idea to remove this unit if one is doing an engine swap. Anyhow I rejoined Amazon Prime as a senior for 5.99 a month I'm getting most of my auto parts through there instead of other places because it's free shipping!
I need to test my system since it has not worked in at least close to 5 years. Any tips on testing for leaks? I was thinking of putting a vacuum on it to see if it holds but your comment about vacuum not being a good way now has me rethinking what should be done.
