I’m considering picking up a ranger about 200 miles from where I live. It doesn’t run and comes with a spare engine and transmission and a bunch of totes of parts. So the truck will need towed and I might have to make a separate trip for the spare stuff. Can anyone reccomend a service that could transport the ranger? Anything I could rent and get it myself? I’ve heard you can tow your car on a Uhaul, that way I could pick up everything in one go. This is in a Washington State. I’m in Bellingham and it’s in Toledo.

Yeah... rent a Uhaul car dolly... put the spare stuff in the bed of the truck. Be prepared for some heavy lifting.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
What will be your tow vehicle if you toe it home?

I would rent U-haul truck and car trailer

Also call some flatbed car haulers and find out their price, cash for weekend haul, lol

Transporter, multi-car trailer, probably wouldn't do a short haul like that

I agree with RonD, just rent a UHAUL truck and trailer one trip and get everything.

I thought he was talking about Toledo Ohio to Bellingham, WA. Sounds pretty far to me. Would be nice to get a budget plane ticket one way and rent the U-Haul stuff to take it home.

If you wanna rent a truck and trailer. Use budget instead. Much cheaper and they are less picky about what you put on the trailer.
