- My credo
- Break it right the first time. Fix it better the next time.
Long story short I've had power loss for some time now. Installed a new fuel pump helped but still felt weak. My shifts where getting firm to harsh. Fuel trims were negative and barely went positive under load. My battery was only holding voltage for about 3 hours now. I have been milking it for a year or so. Put my scanner on it and my post cat o2 sensor was showing 0 voltage on idle and only .050 cruising. Only time it would go rich was over 3k rpms and the truck had a noticeable power increase.. I put in a new 800 cranking amp battery to see if that was the problem. It helped a lot. My shifts are way smoother and truck idled and had more pep. Put the scanner back on it and o2 sensor showing the same thing. 0 volts idle .050 cruise. Installed a new denso o2 sensor and man did it wake the truck up. Seat of the pants feel is back and it's like driving a completely different truck. O2 follows the throttle perfectly now.
