2.3L ('83-'97) Weber 38 users

Hi all, I have a 61' Willys Jeep CJ5 I am trying to dial in my Weber 38 on a mildly warmed over 2.3L F-134 inline four.
I see some Weber 38 related post in this forum, hoping someone with a 38 can share their jetting as far as mains, air correctors, and idle jets.

The best way to decide which jet you need is to drive it some and check the spark plug color. I don't expect anyone here has done the exact swap you're doing. Good luck with your project.

I use to work on a bunch of Weber carbs...

IDF... IDA and DCOE... typically and in a dual carb configuration most of the time. The rules are different when run as a signal.

I also did a bunch of Delorto work. Most of what I learned came from a book written Bob Tomlinson. The Delorto Handbook.

I think my copy is back in Michigan with all my other VW stuff. Search up book or any of Bob's weber info. I'm sure you can some baseline info there. A set of jet gauges and a jet reamer set will be priceless tools to have.
