200 hp? Not quite. And the car wasn't gutted. It weighed over 3000lbs with me in it. And my "200" hp 302 would run 90+ mph trap speeds in the 1/8 mile on regular old radial tires. All im saying is that a 7.5 is tougher than you might think.A body on frame TRUCK is heavier than a small unibody car. And even then from '86 on up Ford decided foxbodys should have an 8.8 to contain their screaming 200hp.
