I made the mistake of going to freakin' AutoZone again because I couldn't find a bolt-on hitch anywhere else in town. They sold me a Reese Class III made for "small trucks", said right on the box it would fit my truck. Well it didn't.
Apparently I'm an idiot because I threw out my receipt and assumed two things:
1. The hitch would fit like it said so right on the box
2. They'd be able to return the purchase on my debit card LIKE A NORMAL RETAIL STORE if it didn't
They can only give me store credit so that means I'm stuck with either $150 (that I can't actually spend since I'm moving to a town where the nearest AutoZone is 2 hours away) or another Reese brand hitch that probably won't fit.
I can only get the hitch to fit if I remove my bumper. I'm not doing that.
