Hi. I’m completely stumped on where this plastic tube connects to the throttle body. My truck is an 88 with a 2.3 efi and any pictures or diagrams would be great help.

Welcome to TRS :)

In 1988 there probably isn't a solenoid for it so it would connect to a Ported Vacuum source
So on throttle body between throttle plate and air filter
Look on the under side of the throttle body, where large air tube connects to it should be a port there to use

Air filter-----------(ported vacuum)----------throttle plate----------(regular vacuum)------------engine
