I have dreams of someday building TRS-3 from a 1989-1992 Gen II Ranger. A 7.3 would be cool, but I surely don't have the funds for it. At 600,000+ page views a month, I can get it exposure, but my pockets aren't deep enough to just go buy a new 7.3.
I know the feeling I was talking to a guy I know who does that Sema and Detroit stuff with his hotrods and shop and he said the only way he thinks it would draw the most attention would be a 2019 or newer Ranger with a 7.3 Godzilla. He said stupid money attracts stupid money's attention.

We are talking about the new 7.3 gas, not the old 7.3 diesel.
You are correct sir. 7.3 Godzilla is an inch longer than a small block Windsor and 2 inches wider.

I've discussed building a Ford Ranger for SEMA. The age of the vehicle isn't as much of a factor as what the engine, etc is. To build something worthy of a show like that, it has to have a modern drivetrain stuffed in it.
