Hi all. I've been trolling a couple weeks crunching data to find the right truck for my Wife. She just retired last February. She drove a '14 Caddy ATS back and forth to downtown Lansing MI. She'd been wanting a small truck. I have a '12 F250 diesel CC that we pull a 34 ft toy hauler and 2 Harleys.
So this black well optioned and rustproofed '01 Ranger stepside is perfect for a 2nd truck for us. Her 2nd stepside. Ist was a '99 Silverado Z71 off road reg cab stepside.
I'm looking for a used set of oem black side steps. Anyone got a nice set to sell?
O.G.

Congrats on the new truck...

Michigan winters were rough on these older trucks. Did it live it's life in Michigan or did you go south for it?

I know my truck has step bars... but to use them as steps... they're worthless. About the only thing they're good for is getting your pants dirty when you don't want dirty pants. They still offer some of them new on Amazon.

Welcome to TRS...

It's a Michigan truck it's whole life, according to the Carfax. It was rustproofed as a baby.
The only flaw in the body is the back left side where 2 years ago someone backed into the back bumper and pushed it in and broke the fiberglass fender. They pulled out the bumper and left it.
