Was one here in the local u-pull, but it was fed to the crusher after 9 days. I found out when I went for the axle. Got the Explorer one instead. May want to look into it. They're a better axle.

Didnt the level 2s run a 31 spline with a 4.56 gear?

I’m in the process of buying a FX4 level 2 from an 03 ranger. 31 spline, 4:10, w/ torsen locker ?

Good luck finding one of those in a junkyard. Its got the 8.8 31 spline rear end which is killer in a ranger. The explorer rear axle will give you calipers instead of drums but there's some welding involved if you are capable. Explorer will be more common than a level II.

With craftsmanship like that, I can see how Dan gave you permission to build a replica Looks really good so far. Are the joints tigged, brazed, or soldered?

Not sure if you're answering my search from 10/19 but I did find one and installed it last year. It came from a junkyard in Canada off of a 2007 Level 2.
Had it totally rebuilt and powder coated and I welded a ladderbar kit to it with QA1 coil overs, 10" drums. It was a 4.10 posi w/torsen locker. 31 spline, 3 1/4" axle tube diameter. Nice piece, hard to find
