  • Hi Daniel, i had just read through a forum where you commented on your use of on F150 bell housing, 4 sp. T-loader and slave cylinder in your '87 V8 swap. Im running essentially the same set up but am curious what clutch master cylinder you used. The stock connection between the slave and clutch master is just a crimp onto the integrated release bearing. Could you enlighten me with what worked for you?

I use my stock clutch master cylinder. I ordered a slave cylinder for an '85 F150 with a 302 and I ordered the hose that goes between the two for an '83 Ranger with a 2.3. I got both from Rockauto. My hose is held in with those tiny roll pins you have to knock out to get the hose off. So far all that part has been fine after about 1000 hard miles.

    Thanks Daniel, that does help.
