01'-11' Ranger Grill Guard on a '97 Ranger

I have an Aries 1-pc Black Grill Guard # 3053 fits the 2001-2011 Ranger, I want to put it on my Sons 1997 Ranger 4WD..anyone ever done this? if so what kind of mods are needed? any info would be greatly appreciated ..Thanks, Buddy

Have you tried lining it up to the 97 and seeing how close it is to where it needs to be mounted? It should be pretty close, may even be a direct bolt on seeing as they are both rangers. Just have to have someone hole it in place and get under there and look what needs to be done. Take a piece of cardboard, tape measure and a marker with you and you can draw a rough image of what you need to make metal wise.
