My idea of a Shelby Ranger if there would have been one.

Hey! Yeah I'm still going at it... Hoping to one day soon get the girl finished!
Nice man. Check out my new build thread if you haven’t already. Started building a clone of my first truck

lol sadly I had to buy new tires thanks to dry rot and not burnouts. I was hoping to do a burn out on the old tires but thy were so bad I couldn't drive it at all. Had to pull the wheels and take them without the truck to get new tires. I had the new tires on before it was running again just so I could test drive it. It won't even bark second with 21 inches of rubber on the back. I use to be able to bark third with the
14"s on it... I've only put 20K on it since the build.. Sucked to have to replace the tires with such low mileage.

Engine is back in and seems to be running really good. The one thing is no oil leaks which is why I had to pull it in the first place. Live and learn... Also did a little mod I found someone else did to the Hurst shifter.. I cut a trench in the adapter plate in the passenger side so it has a vent. I don't recommend the Hurst shifter.. Not a fan although it looks cool Hurst needs to do a ton of work to get it right. The short throw is nice but it's noisy and then there is the mod to get it to breath...

+1 Goes for all the people (other than multiranger of course) that want to post pics of their ride in this thread.
Adding my GT40p 5.0 AWD swap into 99 XLT 4×4. IMHO Ford's lack of factory performance options for the Ranger was a mistake... they should've done Shelbys for sure!20181125_200128.jpeg20181213_075759.jpeg20181013_015032.jpeg

When the weather's nice again you'll have to post up some more photos of it.
