About to start the process of building my engine to handle a turbo. Any suggestions on pistons/rods

Stock rods can handle a reasonable amount of boost (factory turbo engines used the same rods...) but pistons you want good forged units which START at around $400 a set, stock turbo engines had an 8:1 compression ratio which helps in knock sensitivity.
