This is admittedly in an area of PA where property values are low, but one of my buddies was looking at a house a few years ago, two story, 2000 sq ft, 4 bedroom 2 bath, attached 1 car, detached finished 3 car with lift. $85K.
Holy ***!
And I thought a year ago I was lucky to get 1550 sq ft with a 1.5/2 car attached garage on 1/2 acre for $78k was doing well... I'm in city limits but it's a smallish city/large town. House is a 1962 house with most of the 1962 still in it (not good for property value, but good for not being hacked on).
There was a 3 bay shop with a house (yes, that order) that I did look at... it was on 2 acres and had a tiny 1200 sq. ft house. $125k asking price, newer (2002) construction. Had the house been more usable (with 2nd/3rd bedrooms that actually had more space than a f*cking nursery) then I probably would have jumped on it. Also saw a 1970's house with a 2 car garage and a detached shop... which wasn't road accessible (back yard in a subdivision), clearly for woodworking, no good for mechanic toys and metalworking
... it was in the 100K ballpark.
