My first car was a truck. That truck was an '88 Ranger. Fast forward ten years, one more '88 ranger and an '88 B II, and here I am on these forums again as I traded my beloved Chevy K2500 for a... can you guess? A '90 2.3 5 speed! Man are these things getting hard to come by or what? I had completely given up hope on ever finding a first gen and more specifically an 87-88 in good enough shape to even consider buying. So..it's good to be back!

my first ranger was an 88...got rid of it 10 years ago and about 3 months ago I picked up a 90 2.3 5 speed longbed I call the rustbucket rat... yeah you sure dont see the first gens as much as you used to.... welcome aboard
