90 ranger 302(originally 2.3) 2wd, 5 speed.

this happened out of the blue. the whole light assembly works on the passenger side front and rear. and the driver side is completely dead. no blinkers the hazards dont even switch that side on. i dont know where to start looking since this happened randomly and last i knew all the connections were good. also the cigarette lighter quite working at the same time oddly enough

So no blinkers, headlights, tail lights, brake lights?
Have you checked all your fuses?

I have a VW Golf that has issues with corrosion around the bulbs/holders on the tail lights, and causes funny problems like my brake lights effecting the turn signals. Check that your grounds are good, and connections are not corroded.

got it figured out. the trailer wiring was slapped in with those quick connect things that just break the jacket and barely touch the wiring and those are corroded
