I noticed last week my cruise on the B2 no longer works.

It worked a month or so ago when I used it.

Now when I set it, it immediatly puts the pedal to the floor and the truck takes off. It's also intermittant, meaning sometimes it jerks like it is full throttle, let off, full throttle, let off..

It's always worked before.

I was thinking a vacuum leak?

Truck came with a FM146, but now has a M5OD.

It does sound like a vacuum leak. Look at the switch pedal and also the vacuum lines to and from the unit itself.
