I wanted to mount a set of 245/75lt16 I had onto my Ranger 4x4. After some research I picked up these 95 Mustang GT wheels for a song. The stock steel wheels are 15x6 with 12mm offset. One website showed that Ford put 16x7 25mm offset on some Rangers. After mounting these 16x7.5 30mm offset wheels I checked full lock and found zero issues with clearance, not even close. The truck needs an alignment but it handles fine at low and highway speeds. So the question is with the additional width and 30mm of offset is there any reason to invest in spacers for engineering issues. I couldn't care less about pushing them out for visual appeal. Form follows function for this farm truck.
