In general, no, the 2.3l engine used different mounting than the Ranger V6 engines, so not the same alternators

I would add the electrics you want before replacing alternator
With all electrics on, if head lights start to dim at idle then you will want a higher amp alternator
Alternators only output 60% of their amp rating with engine under 1,000rpm, idling
At about 1,500rpm, and above, is when they output 100% of rating
So a 100amp alternator has 60amps at idle and 100amps above 1,500rpm
