My '04 Ranger Edge (Plus) rebuild. I posted some of these pics on my "square tube rocker panel" thread.

All but two of these pics are "hosted" on FaceBook, so this is also a test to see if/how long they'll stay up..

That's looking pretty good. I like how you fixed the rear of the frame. That's exactly how my frame looked when I started doing my own rust repair. I ended up removing bed (had to replace fuel pump) and using our body shops frame scaler and cleaned up the frame then I mixed green blue and black rustoleum oil based paint and painted the frame to match the truck. It will last a heck of lot longer than before when I was using the spray on bed liner stuff. Here is a pic of mine.

Nice truck, I like that color!

I know what you mean, I bought some of the "rubberized undercoating" in the spray can, very disappointed with the results. I think cheap spray paint would have worked just as well.
I ended up buying some paint on rust converter/primer, and going over that with spray paint, I'm still not 100% satisfied with that but it's better then the rubber undercoating...
I see in other threads people here recommending "Fluid Film" undercoating, I found it on Amazon but can't find it locally. Next spring I'm ordering a gallon and redoing all my vehicles with that.

Fluid film is similar to in the old days when my great grandfather would save his used engine oil and coat the underside of his cars with it for winter. You have to reapply every year, but it is supposed to be a good bit more environmentally friendly than used oil.

Thanks. I got lucky when mixing and got it dang near perfect when compared to the truck. I just need to finish painting it still. Haven't done the front half yet since the back half always rust worse than the front.
