Looks like a extended cab f150 with a shortened frame and shortened box welded on. IMO, that would be simpler than modifying a FSB.

Pics for posterity;

What sane person would put that kind of work into a plow truck? It's like wiping before you poop, it doesn't make any sense. :dntknw:

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Who said he/she is sane??

I see your point. But everyone has different tastes.

That's a pretty cool idea, actually. Although, I'm not so sure about the colour. It just screams lemon!

I never cared for yellow, either. Looks like a quality build. I suppose one could have got a shortbed. It's one of those "why not" kind of builds.

I'm with you on that!

A used car, you can't always pick the color (my first off-farm car, a 73 Vega (!?) was a sickly yellow color that the years had not been kind to.)

But a custom vehicle, which obviously had many $k spent on it, coulda had any color they wanted - THAT is what they went with?

I used to work with a guy with a bright yellow Edge Ranger.

He was colorblind so his color options were various shades of gray or yellow.

We had a bright yellow Ranger Edge traded in at a dealership I worked at years ago. It had a hard cover on the bed, with spoiler, and the low note horn was out. It looked and sounded like a rubber duck.

Maybe they wanted to stick out. Or be unique. Or, like adsm suggests, maybe they thought it was just ducky.

It almost looks like it came from the factory like that, doesn't it? As though it could have been a factory option for the Bronco.
