Yup, the old DC-3. It was down for a bit of last year because it was moved and they put new bearings in it. It's the world's largest weather vane depending on how you measure it. Pilots use is on approach for windage. I love it here.

Wait what? were you guys talking to me? Sorry I've been incognito and enjoying the arrival of my Brother's brand new baby girl. Sydney Amaleah Popp. (Stupid name... I know.) She was born 6pm May 30th. 8pounds 20 inches. And my brother's 27th Birthday was May 31st. lol

So we've been busy. Memorial day, new baby, birthday. And for my brother's birthday I built him a cake. it was a 1 1/2 feet tall, and about a foot wide. Total of 5 cakes..... I made an R2D2 cake. (I'd post pictures but I'm on the work computer.)

And there's plenty of rain here so..... MUD TIME! YEAH! Lets see how bad I can get my truck stuck. :yahoo:

So it looks like I will be able to meet you guys as planned. Barring there are no more washouts. The road north has been opened on a detour single lane. As far as south goes it looks like there are a couple hundred meters of road MISSING. Yeah, that sucks.

Which begs the question, who's up to grab it after? After this drive I'd like to try and maybe meet up in Watson Lake or something.
