Hey guys I have just purchased a 1999 Ford Ranger 3.0, 2WD, Extended cab 4 door, automatic transmission, 180k
Has a misfire that is slightly intermittent sometimes it will go away, and @ WOT it runs like a dream.
90% of the time it just idles like garbage, CEL is on.
I'm just @ a loss at this point. is there a way to check the injector without removing the intake manifold?? If so how would I go about it.
What I have done so far - -
Compression check 150PSI across the board (+/- 2-3PSI)
New plugs / wires - no dice
Coil replaced with known good coil - no dice
Ran injector cleaner threw it - no dice
