Does anyone know where I can get a new headlight socket for the drivers side of an '86 Ranger? I can't find one in parts stores or online. LMC doesn't list them as LH RH so I figure there's are the 3-wire connectors. My '86 and '87 have a 3-wire plug on the pass. side but a 6-wire plug on the drivers side. I'd rather not use the 3-wire socket on the LH side and have to splice into the harness for the RH light. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I looked at a junkyard but all those sockets crumbled to dust like mine.

The wires are piggybacked at the LH side and run to the RH.

I don't think anyone makes the 6-wire one, which is just the 3-wire one with double the wires crimped into the terminals.

i can look at the wiring from my 85 parts truck and see what the wires look like. if they will be ok i could send ya the set. they are just sitting doing nothing. other wise what adsm said... they will be a splice in 3 wire plug from a store new.

cheers
