hey guys i already read in the tech section about doing the actually swap and how much gain there is however it doesnt say what year f150 to use the springs from. i have a 96 2wd ranger. so if anyone can help me plz throw it out there

With that light of an engine, your front end will be so stiff it'll be like feeding a bottle of viagra to a teenager going through puberty.

hahahaha ya i no but i have a 4.0 in the garage that will b going in as soon as i finish my car project so that i still have a reliable vehicle to drive until the swap is done

It's still gonna be stiff. Just wait a couple months I'll sell you my leveling coils.

Just made the swap on my 92 ranger with a 302, gave me close to 2" of lift. You will have to find some 3 degree camber bushings to make it align right. The coils I used came off of a 89 F150. After I finished one side the difference in support was very noticable, wasn't as bouncy as factory.
